The Rwanda Institute of Cooperatives, Entrepreneurship, and Microfinance (RICEM) is pleased to announce the successful completion of its Micro Business Game (MBG) coaching sessions for members of Umwalimu SACCO across all 30 districts of Rwanda.
The MBG coaching program is designed to strengthen financial literacy, enhance entrepreneurial thinking, and equip participants with practical business management skills through an interactive and experiential learning approach.
The sessions were conducted in two phases : Session 1 took place on 15th–16th April 2026, followed by Session 2 on 17th–18th April 2026. All scheduled sessions have now been successfully completed, engaging multiple groups of participants nationwide.
Through the Micro Business Game methodology, participants gained hands-on experience in managing business operations, making financial decisions, and understanding market dynamics in a simulated environment. This approach enables learners to apply concepts in a practical way, fostering deeper understanding and long-term impact.
This initiative reflects RICEM’s ongoing commitment to empowering SACCO members and strengthening the cooperative sector in Rwanda through innovative and inclusive capacity-building programs.
RICEM extends its sincere appreciation to all participants, facilitators, and partners who contributed to the success of this nationwide program.
