ENHANCING PROCUREMENT MANAGEMENT CAPACITY IN D-SACCOS

The Rwanda Institute of Cooperatives, Entrepreneurship and Microfinance (RICEM) is currently hosting a five-day training on Procurement Management in Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) for 9 D-SACCOs at the Musanze Training Center, running from Monday, 13th April to Friday, 17th April 2026.

The training has brought together 57 participants who are actively engaged in intensive learning sessions aimed at strengthening their knowledge and skills in procurement planning, compliance, and transparent resource management.

Participants are taking part in interactive discussions, practical exercises, and experience-sharing sessions, creating a collaborative learning environment focused on improving procurement practices within their institutions.

RICEM remains committed to empowering financial institutions through capacity building initiatives that promote professionalism, accountability, and sustainable growth in the cooperative and microfinance sector.
