Kamwezi Capitoline is a member of the Board of the Rwanda Institute of Cooperatives, Entrepreneurship, and Microfinance (RICEM). She holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance from Uganda Christian University, where she conducted significant research projects. Her MBA dissertation focused on "Leadership Styles and Stress of Employees in Public Financial Institutions in Rwanda. Additionally, she completed her bachelor’s dissertation on the role of credit analysis in managing microfinance institutions in Rwanda, which featured a case study of RIM SA.
In addition to her academic qualifications, Kamwezi has pursued various training certifications, including CEFE (Competence Economique sur la Formation à l’Esprit Entrepreneurial), Financial Projections, Accounting in Microfinance, and Business Planning. Her professional experience is extensive ; she served as the Manager of BYUMBA SACCO and has held roles as a Billing Officer for Mutual Health Insurance, as well as a facilitator for several organizations focused on entrepreneurship and microfinance. Her combination of academic expertise and practical experience makes her a vital contributor to the development of finance and microfinance in Rwanda.
